Yaad

Scholarship and research-paper tracker that works with your AI assistant

Overview

Built with Next.js 15, TypeScript, Convex, Clerk, Cloudinary and Resend on Vercel. Automatic reminder emails 30, 15 and 5 days before each deadline, a document vault linked to each application, paper tracking from draft to published, and an MCP server with human approval, plus a REST API, access tokens and signed webhooks for n8n.

What it does

  • Application pipeline

Six statuses, requirement checklists, and a document vault that attaches files to each application.

  • Deadline reminders

Automatic emails at 9 AM local time, 30, 15 and 5 days before each deadline and on the day itself, plus one-off reminders you set yourself.

  • Research papers

Track papers from draft to published: 10 statuses, a status history, milestones, revision tasks, and journal details such as quartile, impact factor, APC and review time.

  • Works with your AI assistant

An MCP server lets Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients read your applications and propose changes. Nothing is saved until you approve it in Yaad.

  • REST API and webhooks

An OpenAPI 3.1 spec, personal access tokens, and HMAC-signed webhooks for automations such as n8n.
